There was once a little girl named Gauri. She was the cleverest in her village in Kerala. Her parents were always very proud of their daughter. She would help the poor and catch the thieves using her cleverness.
One day, a buissinessman, his wife and his two daughters Kalpana and Keerthana came to Gauri's village. Gauri saw them and asked them why they had come that way. Keerthana said with tears in her eyes," Friend, our dad's pouch which was filled with thousands of gold coins is stolen. Dad has tried to trace tem but he couldn't. Now we are poor and o we have come here. The pouch was stolen from this huge suitcase of ours."
Gauri was very clever. She took the suitcase home and then went to a detective's home to borrow a microscope. She looked at the suitcase closely and could see red handprints on the suitcase. She immediately went to the police station along with the buissinessman and his family. She told everything about their sadness to the inspector. The police inspector took the suitcase from her and looked at it. Then, he said," Gauri, you are an expert in finding thieves. These finger prints are of the famous thief Somu. Yet, I must have proof. Now you can go home. Sir, you please remain here and identify the thief from the thief book."
All of them obediently went home and the buissinessman sat there itself, looking at a bunch of magazines.
The inspector took out some of the magazines and said," Sir, here are pictures of thieves. Please go through each one of them and identify the thief."
Then, the inspector turned over a few pages. Suddenly, the buissinessman pointed at a thief and told the inspector that that was the thief. The inspector said," It is just as I have thought. It is Somu who did the theft. I will send a voice message to all my men and will go along with them. We will try to find him out as soon as possible."
The inspector sent a voice message and rushed out. After an hour, he returned with Somu handcuffed and tied. He was then put into jail and was to stay there for many years all together. He said," It was a good thing that he was somewhere very near. Now Gauri will be veryr happy and we must thank her."
Gauri was sent to the police station and was congragulated by the police. She was given a reward for her bravery and her pictures came in all the mass media. It was not Gauri as you think but her parents who were very happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
